Some references come with abstracts, but many of them not. For non-English journals many abstracts are translated into English. The journal editors and the Speleogenesis team are working on improving the master database with a goal to have abstracts for most of records. The database is frequently updated for recently published articles.
The database was compiled, formatted and presented on this site by A.Klimchouk, A.Koptchincky, N.Yablokova, Ph.Audra, F.Gabrovsek, L.Plan, Jo De Waele, M.Field, D.Lowe (UIS KHS Commission and ICKRIN) using data provided by the journals and derived from www.bcra.org.uk (BCRA) and www.caves.org (NSS)
