Welcome to World Cave and Karst Science journals !
The World Cave and Karst Science journals database (WCKSJ) is a part of KarstBase facilitating an access to journals, which focus is specifically the cave and karst studies. The WCKSJ fully covers 16 major journals in the field since their launch and allows a quick search through this remarkable mass of cave and karst knowledge. It provides bibliographic descriptions, abstracts and, when available, web links to full-text papers online.
The WCKSJ was originally compiled in 2005 as a joint effort of editors of several major journals (Ph.Audra, F.Gabrovsek, M.Field, A.Klimchouk, D.Lowe, L.Plan and Jo De Waele). Since that it was maintained by the Ukrainian Institute of Speleology and Karstology. In 2011 a special online management system has been created within KarstBase that allows the editors to directly maintain and update their respective contents.
